WASHINGTON – Cựu Tổng thống Donald Trump hôm thứ Năm tuyên bố ông sẽ không tranh luận với Phó Tổng thống Kamala Harris lần thứ hai, khiến đảng Dân chủ chỉ trích sau khi ông bị đẩy vào thế pḥng thủ trong cuộc đối đầu hôm thứ Ba.

Khi đưa ra thông báo trong bài đăng trên Truth Social, Trump đă chỉ trích cả Harris và Tổng thống Joe Biden. Trump và Biden đă đối đầu vào ngày 27 tháng 6 trước khi đương kim ứng cử viên bỏ cuộc và Harris vươn lên dẫn đầu.

"KAMALA NÊN TẬP TRUNG VÀO NHỮNG G̀ BÀ ẤY NÊN LÀM TRONG KHOẢNG THỜI GIAN GẦN BỐN NĂM QUA. SẼ KHÔNG CÓ CUỘC TRANH LUẬN THỨ BA!" Trump nói.
