Đảng Cộng hòa chính thức đề cử Donald Trump làm ứng cử viên tổng thống vào thứ Hai tại đại hội RNC ở Milwaukee.

Trump được đề cử ngay sau khi ông công bố JD Vance là người đồng hành tranh cử.

Tổng thống Trump đã đến Milwaukee vào Chủ Nhật, chỉ 24 giờ sau vụ ám sát bất thành.

“Tôi rất vinh dự khi được đề cử Donald J. Trump vào chức vụ Tổng thống Hoa Kỳ!” Chủ tịch đảng Cộng hòa Iowa Jeff Kaufmann phát biểu trong tiếng reo hò.

Hai con trai của Tổng thống Trump là Don Jr. và Eric đã tham dự đại hội RNC vào thứ Hai.
