Boeing gặp rắc rối không chỉ ở Trái Đất mà cả trên Vũ Trụ. Đây là Sunita 'Suni' Williams và Barry 'Butch' Wilmore, phi hành gia chuyến bay đầu tiên của tàu vũ trụ Boeing Starliner đến Trạm Vũ trụ Quốc tế (ISS) đã bị mắc kẹt tại đây từ tháng 6/2024 do tàu của họ gặp các lỗi kỹ thuật. Chuyến đi ban đầu của họ dự định chỉ có 8 ngày. Họ có hai lựa chọn một là bay về bằng con tàu bị lỗi kỹ thuật và hai là chờ đợi để sắp xếp trở về bằng con tàu khác. Họ đã quyết định chọn phương án hai. NASA đã thông báo sẽ đưa họ trở về bằng tàu SpaceX Crew-9 vào tận tháng 2/2025.
