Ref. : Many of our alumni have gone on to greater things.
From: Hoang Huu Phuoc
To: Alumni
Dear all:
I have visited Mr HL’s site of our alumni
and read some of his postings.
I found a link to a voice message by a Cu Huy Ha Vu about
his suing Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dzung over some “mistakes”.
As an elderly, I wish to share with you my following viewpoints
since hewho is an elderly gains more experience”:
1) We should not post anything of dubious sources, personalities, and purposes.
Here, that man Cu Huy Ha Vu is a wretched good-for-nothing
as I have never heard of his name in any successful contribution
to either save this country or make it better academically and practically
(in a practical or academical way
- the short adjective comes before the long one).
Why do I say he is a bastard good-for-nothing (bastard)?
Simply because he does not learn about (understand - “Vietnamesengli sh”) his very status!
He lives in the SRV, a country where food grows up in the soil
soaked with the blood of millions of the nation (the people who live in a nation)
who have sacrificed themselves
the very dream that nobody else (I repeat: nobody else) in the past
(including Phan Boi Chau, Phan Chu Trinh, etc.
and the wretched good-for-nothing (wretched) leaders
and troops of the Republic of Vietnam
who made the most humiliated chapter in the history of mankind
as nowhere on earth there has beenanyarmy running away naked,
throwing off all their uniforms, ammunitions and weapons
in such a shameful event of 30 April 1975)
could accomplish it,
except the Vietnamese Communists.
Cu Huy Ha Vu and the like enjoyed
a luxurious life and good education at their very young age,
and these kids think
that whatever they´ve learned from the West
should be applied in Vietnam
What is worthy then
as this current economic recession
(including all the past economic crises)
is so exclusively borne by the proud West?
2) The people of Vietnam are traditionally agaisnt the “new” (?!).
I appreciate a great saying by the great president of the great country USA
(“Do not ask what the country….’)
and you can take a lesson from it:
As /Once You Are Fighting Against Your Own Country,
Or Keep On Asking whether This Or That,
This would Never Be Great !
I often yell at the anti-communists (mostly overseas Vietnamese — Vietkieus)
that if they think
the communist leaders of Vietnam cannot manage the country successfully,
just /please give me a name or the names of “worthier” people who could.
Have they — who being so frightened by the then approaching Vietcongs had to flee Vietnam in tears and terrorand are currently living abroad /overseas in destitution –
been for decades loudmouths about “the Vietnamese communists´ cruelty“,
“stupid economic masterplans”, “corruption”, “degraded human rights”and the like?
Do they –who did absolutely nothing to the development of Vietnam
now have the sheer “power”to lead the younger generation of Vietnam?

3) My family is not communist.
Neither am I communist myself.
I am a Vietnamese,
and I know what a citizen should do to his country.
Vietnam has had so many enemies.
Whatever positive you think the goverment would listen to,
please tell them itdirectly /openly.
If you dare not do that, it’s your fault.
Please do not feel delighted
as somebody (particularly those living abroad) is writing something against this
regime, and you then forward the link as a “clever” act to shun your “responsibility ”.
You may refer to this link to learn about
what I as a young teacher wrote,
suggesting
a change of the images on the Vietnamese banknotes
to avoid using only those of (only) President Ho Chi Minh
http://www.emotino.com/m.php?u=hoanghuuphuo c&p=17012.

If over the early “tough” years of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam
such people as that wretched Cu Huy Ha Vu did not dare to say anything,
then you can know it right away
that they are merely cowards,
and they are thus not allowed
to say nothing in the name of “justice” or “human rights” or the like.
They are serving some “big bosses” as“lacqueys /henchmen” for US dollars to be paid onto their own accounts abroad.
Only for that and nothing more.
In summary, this is my warning
that whoever dare to launch rage a war agaisnt this country
would be surely smashed by my very own hands.
I´ve already made this known to all my friends and relatives living abroad.
So, please take my words and remove that posting,
and never forward the link
and any other links of similar content to anybody living around the world,
as I would be surviving you in such a world,
and you would not have a chance to experience it.
I welcome anybody /anyone who shares with me the pride as contained herein:
http://www.emotino.com/m.php?u=hoanghuuphuo c&p=17694
I highly appreciate your kind patience in reading this message.
(This sentence sounds both “clumsy” and “awkward”
and might not be up to his MiB!
)
