Remember! during the cold war, the Russia nuclear submarines had too many problems such as being fired during patrolling in the oceans and had to surface, and some of the nuclear subs disappeared and lied down in the deep ocean floor. Also, right after the cold war, one of Russia nuclear subs was in fire during the time of patrolling in Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and Washington State and had to surface to save crews' lives. The US naval ship came and helped them. It was embarrassing for them though!
