Did you catch worms from eating fruit in Vietnam? Or anything else? Don't want to be gross, just think this is such a hospitality issue in Vietnam and just wondering if they take more care in fruit sanitation?
thankfully, no worms hahahaha, just diarrhea the earlier times, except the last 2 times I was safe. But I really was afraid to eat out. I would always just bring food home to eat and only used ice made from boiled/cooked water. Ate a lot of mangos tho. VN has good xoai cat I also love bòn bon,măng cụt, and mảng cầu xiêm, but the bòn bon and măng cụt were not in season and I didn't feel like spending 4-5 times as much for fruits not in season and probably don't taste as sweet anyway
