Both your English and Vietnamese are very good - nothing to feel self-conscious about. A lot of times, we (or at least myself) post comments on here according to our (my) streams of thought , so the comments can be a little colloquial instead of formal. I have often googled to find the correct spelling of a Vietnamese word because it doesn't "look" right. However, I know that nobody here would make fun of me if I post misspelled words
That said, journalists are expected to write more perfectly than us laymen; just like doctors are expected to know medicine, or engineers are supposed to be good in physics. But we are all human; mistakes do happen, and it's really OK
