This girl is very lucky....When the 1992 Los Angeles riots burned many businesses, several stores were protected by well armed Korean American shop owners. Had this girl walked into such a store with her pistol she may have been carried out. They are willing to protect their livelihood with a firearm.
But I'm sure the media would have spun the story as another gentle black student shot or killed for shopping black.
