As a basic.. the hotel-resort industry rating goes from 1-star to 5-stars.. That's it.
There is officially No 6-star or 7-star hotel.. It is simply a short cut to saying that a hotel is bigger..glitzier and more expensive than the norm... Even the hotel Burj Al Arab in Dubai says that this originates from a British journalist and they neither encourage its use nor do they use it in their advertising.
