mmmmm I don't think so, at least for this case. I am sure that does happen some (nepotism and mutual PR), but forget about Obama's current status. Before this, the Obamas were very very successful lawyers, Michelle even more so than Barack. So, I don't think their daughters inherited any dumb gene from the parents
