I don't think it is possible to "win" any form of an argument online. Humans are to proud to admit defeat in their convictions. Feelings of resentment towards the person who changed your thoughts will exist. They, for a brief moment had decided an opinion for you, as you unwillingly accepted. So, even if a person "wins" the "loser" will never 100% accept defeat..
This has been my experience every-time a disagreement has occurred online, there is never a winner.....
