U.S. healthcare and politics in a nut shell.
We spent lots of money on the military, but cut spending in healthcare (got rid of the pandemic response team, CDC and federal government urged people to stay calm despite seeing what happened in China, Korea, Italy and Iran, and we could have shut down all flights coming into the U.S. back in December or January instead of now). Bloody brilliant.

My fellow physicians and healthcare providers are now on the front line trying to deal with this pandemic with no protective equipment and could bring SARS-CoV-2 back home to our families.
