The White Master Race? Nope, Not Even Close.

The idea of white superiority is just a lie spread to keep anyone non-white suppressed and under control.

Over the past nearly ten years, Donald Trump has managed to resurrect and reinvigorate on of the most wretched facts of American life: white supremacy. An example of this came across my radar almost exactly seven years ago, when a white Kansas City Commissioner said to a Black woman in that he was part of the “master race.”

As reported in Newsweek at the time:

The remark was made on Tuesday by Leavenworth County commissioner Louis Klemp, a white man, and seemingly directed at a woman presenting for an architecture firm. It has been branded as racist—and local media reported it was not the first time Klemp has sparked controversy.

I had a few things to say about this on that day in 2018:

The only subhumans on this rock are those that consider they are a “master race.” This applies to morons that call themselves by any number of labels: KKK, alt-right, white supremacists, etc. They all come under the heading of Nazi.

Let us not forget the atrocities visited on this world by people of this mindset. It goes way back beyond WWII. Every country has this dark legacy including our own—white settlers in the US practiced this. The British practiced this in a number of locales, South Africa being one of note with early versions of concentration camps in the Boer Wars. The Turks in Armenia. The genocides of Rawanda, the Balkans and more.

Any label given to people of a different ethnicity, religious practice or skin shading should be viewed as an invitation to step upon the greased slope of Man’s bloody past. We need to resist this impulse where we see it and call it out for what it is.

Neither is there a valid label of superiority. The false doctrines of Eugenics and its evil offspring eventually lead to wholesale death. They are the purest of evil. One wonders why they are ever promoted. For even darker reasons. The profit of war. Make no mistake about the fact that there is profit in war.

So when you hear the utterances of delusion of superiority, inferiority or difference, realize you are hearing the the begins of trading blood for money and act accordingly.

Fast forwarding to our present circumstances, the Trump White House is normalizing, again, the idea of white superiority. And let me be utterly blunt: white supremacy is nothing but a longer spelling for Nazism.

Nazis, no matter how you spell them, make their way in life by making themselves and their dupes believe that because people have certain categories of beliefs, variations in language, accents, countries or areas of origin or skin color, that they are some how “less than” them.

Actually, as I wrote in my comment seven years ago, it is the white supremacist that is less than. By refusing the humanity of every other person, these folks are actually denying their own humanity. Humanity is composed of one race, the human race.

There are no “lesser” races, only lesser humans who attempt to deny humanity to others. That they espouse hate is nothing more than a symptom of the terror in which they hold others.

And this is the cancer that is being fed by Trump and his cadre of haters and bigots.
