VBF-Lại chuẩn bị thêm một đường xe điện được thi công tới thẳng Tân Sơn Nhất. Với giá tiền cắt cổ hy vọng người dân sẽ có đường xe điện thật tốt để đi. V́ dân th́ tăng lên mà xe máy nhiều lên khiến cho đường ra sân bay lúc nào cũng kẹt xe.

SÀI G̉N – Trước t́nh trạng xe kẹt cứng mỗi ngày, hôm thứ Sáu Sở Giao Thông Vận Tải (GTVT) cùng Viện Khoa Học và Công Nghệ Giao Thông Vận Tải (KH-CN GTVT) đă tổ chức hội thảo t́m hướng giải cứu kẹt xe tại khu vực sân bay quốc tế Tân Sơn Nhất.
Theo viện KH-CN GTVT thời gian qua, t́nh trạng ùn tắc giao thông (UTGT) khu vực Cảng Hàng Không Quốc Tế Tân Sơn Nhất thường xuyên xảy ra, đặc biệt vào giờ cao điểm và sau các trận mưa lớn.
Để giải quyết t́nh trạng trên, viện này đề nghị dùng hệ thống vận chuyển hành khách dành riêng đưa đón khách ra vào sân bay. Cụ thể, dùng hệ thống tàu điện đường sắt một ray (monorail) hai chiều với kết cấu dầm, trụ bằng thép, móng cọc bằng hệ thống cọc vít (cọc ống thép có lưỡi xoắn ở mũi).
Theo đó, tuyến tàu điện này sẽ đặt một trạm trung chuyển chính tại công viên Hoàng Văn Thụ và một trạm tại công viên Gia Định, bố trí băi đậu xe (ngầm, công suất dự tính 2,000 xe hơi) và các công tŕnh phụ khác phục vụ cho các xe ra vào, dừng đưa đón khách.
Để vận hành, tại hai trạm trung chuyển trên sẽ xây dựng trung tâm điều hành và Depot tại khu vực công viên Gia Định.
Ngoài ra, viện này cũng hiến kế xây dựng tuyến đường sắt đơn khép kín. Tuyến này sẽ chạy ṿng quay các cửa ra vào sân bay Tân Sơn Nhất để đưa đón khách.
Bên cạnh đó, khuyến khích, hướng dẫn và thiết lập các chế tài hạn chế, cấm các xe hơi đưa đón hành khách đi máy bay ra vào trực tiếp từ cửa của cảng hàng không hiện nay mà phải chuyển tiếp từ các trạm trên đường Trường Sơn và Bạch Đằng hoặc tại công viên Hoàng Văn Thụ và công viên Gia Định.
Phí tổn được đưa ra là khoảng $50 triệu Mỹ kim cho mỗi km đường xe điện.
