Ngụy trang là chiến thuật trong quân sự nhằm trốn tránh khả năng quan sát, phát hiện của đối phương bằng cách ẩn mình vào môi trường xung quanh, qua đó tiếp cận vào mục tiêu. Trong ảnh là chiến sĩ đặc công Lữ đoàn 198, Binh chủng Đặc công (đóng trên địa bàn Tây Nguyên) mặc lớp áo cỏ ngụy trang hòa vào bãi cỏ vận động tiếp cận mục tiêu.
Có rất nhiều kỹ thuật ngụy trang, ví dụ như bôi bùn đất lên người để hòa lẫn vào môi trường xung quanh. Trong lịch sử kháng chiến chống Thực dân Pháp và Đế quốc Mỹ, trận đánh tháp canh Cầu Bà Kiên năm 1950, bộ đội ta đã bôi bùn đất lên người để che mắt địch, tiếp cận mục tiêu. Đây được xem là một trong những trận đánh khởi nguồn cách đách của đặc công.
Nếu các chiến sĩ không đứng dậy thì sẽ rất khó để có thể nhận biết được họ.
Toàn thân mình chiến sĩ đặc công phủ lên màu đen, chỉ chừa lại 2 mắt.


Chiến sĩ đặc công với “áo cỏ” vận động tiếp cận mục tiêu.


Ngay cả khẩu súng AK cũng được ngụy trang cùng chiến sĩ.
