HÀ NỘI (NV) - Thủ tướng CSVN, ông Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, vừa ra lệnh cho Bộ Tư Pháp là phải gia hạn ngày “đăng kư” giữ quốc tịch Việt Nam thêm 5 năm nữa.

Theo đó, thời hạn cuối để người Việt ở hải ngoại ghi danh giữ quốc tịch Việt Nam thay v́ là ngày 1 tháng 7, 2014 sẽ được ấn định lại là 1 tháng 7, 2019.

Lễ trao giấy chứng nhận quốc tịch Việt Nam tại Sài G̣n hôm 21 tháng 2, 2014 vừa qua. (H́nh: báo Pháp Luật Sài G̣n)

Trước đó, theo Luật Quốc Tịch Việt Nam được Bộ Tư Pháp ban hành năm 2008 nói rằng, người Việt ở hải ngoại phải đến cơ quan đại diện của Việt Nam tại nước ngoài để ghi danh giữ, để khỏi mất quốc tịch Việt Nam, và hạn chót là ngày 1 tháng 7 năm 2014.

Tuy nhiên, cho rằng không được quyền lợi ǵ, nên người Việt Nam định cư ở ngoại quốc không tha thiết đến việc giữ quốc tịch Việt Nam.

Có người cho rằng giấy chứng nhận quốc tịch Việt Nam chỉ là một tờ giấy “lộn” không hơn không kém, v́ giữ quốc tịch hay không giữ quốc tịch cũng không có ǵ khác nhau.

Theo thống kê của Bộ Tư Pháp Việt Nam, tính đến nay, chỉ mới có khoảng 6,000 người Việt Nam ở hải ngoại ghi danh giữ quốc tịch Việt Nam, trong tổng số 4.5 triệu người Việt Nam định cư ở nước ngoài.

So với con số xấp xỉ 4.5 triệu người Việt định cư ở ngoại quốc, tỉ lệ người Việt Nam ghi danh giữ quốc tịch “mẹ” chỉ vào khoảng 0.13%. Tức là, cứ 1,000 người th́ chỉ có 1.3 người “đăng kư.” Đây là tỉ lệ “rất thấp” so với tổng số người Việt hải ngoại, phần lớn cư ngụ tại Hoa Kỳ, Úc, Liên Âu...

Nếu con số này tiếp tục đứng yên vào sau ngày 1 tháng 7, 2014, có nghĩa là hơn 4 triệu người Việt Nam ở hải ngoại giữ thái độ “từ chối quốc tịch Việt Nam.”

B́nh luận về việc này, ông Hà Ngọc Cư, giám đốc điều hành cơ quan CISS chuyên về di dân và tị nạn tại Houston, Texas, nói rằng: “Nếu chính quyền Việt Nam coi người Mỹ gốc Việt vẫn đang là công dân Việt Nam th́ chả cần phải buộc họ làm đơn xin giữ quốc tịch Việt Nam như họ vẫn hành xử từ trước tới nay.”

Và rằng: “Câu hỏi ở đây là, phải chăng phía chính quyền Việt Nam muốn giương ra một 'cái bẫy.' V́ thế, nếu muốn 'đăng kư' giữ quốc tịch Việt Nam th́ hăy suy nghĩ cẩn thận bằng việc trả lời câu hỏi, nếu muốn giữ lại quốc tịch Việt Nam th́ được cái lợi ǵ.”

Truyền thông tại Việt Nam từng lo rằng thời gian từ nay đến ngày 1 tháng 7, 2014 là quá ngắn ngủi để ghi danh. Như vậy, hàng triệu người Việt ở hải ngoại có nguy cơ bị mất quốc tịch Việt Nam.

Tại Sài G̣n, ngày 21 tháng 2, 2014 mới đây, Sở Tư Pháp đă trao quyết định nhập tịch Việt Nam cho 141 người không có quốc tịch, không có giấy tờ tùy thân, nhưng đă cư trú ổn định tại Sài G̣n từ 20 năm trở lên. (PL)

thiệt là chán quá đi bọn trung ương lại hoăn quết định nữa rồi, làm thất vọng quá đi cái đám đỉnh cao trí tệ loài người này..thiệt là làm ăn không ra ǵ...lại phải hoăn nữa chứ, cứ tưởng ai cũng thèm...cai quốc tịch cs này.

Đậu má cái thằng ba dũng và thằng súc sinh nguyễn thanh sơn cứ to mơm đ̣i người VN có quốc tịch nước người trở lại xin cái quốc tịch VN trong khi lũ súc vật chó đẻ chúng nó thi nhau cho con ra ngoại quốc với lời dặn ráng kiếm cái quốc tịch nước đó, dù có phải làm đĩ điếm như con thằng dũng cũng ok.

cũng may vừa rồi tui mới được chính phủ công gô cho vô quốc tịch,từ nay o c̣n là người mang quốc tịch vn nữa ,a di đà phật mừng quá ! tuy ở đây o đầy đủ như các nước âu mỹ nhưng được cái chiều chiều ra đồng cỡi hươu cao cỗ chơi miễn phí.
