Tờ New York Times có bài viết nói Tổng thống Trump được cho là gần như không đóng thuế thu nhập trong những năm gần đây nhờ khai báo thua lỗ kinh doanh.

Tờ báo Mỹ đưa tin Tổng thống Donald Trump chỉ trả 750 USD thuế thu nhập liên bang cả trong năm 2016 và 2017. Trump không đóng bất kỳ đồng thuế thu nhập nào 10 trong 15 năm qua, dù tới năm 2018 ông đă nhận được 427,4 triệu USD từ chương tŕnh truyền h́nh thực tế của ḿnh và các thương vụ khác.

Trump được cho là đă giảm thiểu mức thuế phải đóng bằng cách báo cáo lỗ nặng trên toàn bộ đế chế kinh doanh của ông. Theo New York Times, Trump tuyên bố lỗ 47,4 triệu USD vào năm 2018, dù trong một báo cáo tài chính công bố cùng năm, số liệu cho thấy ông có thu nhập ít nhất 343,9 triệu USD.

Tại một cuộc họp báo ở Nhà Trắng ngày 27/9, Tổng thống Mỹ bác bỏ thông tin từ New York Times, gọi đây là "tin giả". "Tôi đă phải trả rất nhiều và tôi đóng rất nhiều thuế thu nhập", ông nói.

Trong một thông báo gửi tới tờ báo, Alan Garten, một luật sư của Trump Organization, khẳng định Tổng thống Trump đă trả hàng triệu USD thuế cá nhân trong 10 năm qua, song không đề cập tới những chi tiết nghi ngờ mà New York Times nêu ra.

Trump đă liên tục từ chối tiết lộ hồ sơ thuế, không tuân thủ thông lệ tiêu chuẩn đối với các ứng viên tổng thống, với lư do đang kiểm toán.

New York Times cho biết họ thu được dữ liệu kê khai thuế của Trump và tổ chức kinh doanh của ông trong hơn hai thập kỷ. Tuy nhiên, họ không có thông tin về lợi nhuận cá nhân của ông từ năm 2018 hoặc 2019.

Con số chính xác là $75 theo NY Timed. Có thể CNN tính theo tiền TÀU nên là $750.
