Tổng thống Donald Trump thừa nhận rằng ông đă biết từ trước đó rằng dịch Covid-19 có thể “tồi tệ” nhưng không muốn “trở thành một người tiêu cực” và giúp người Mỹ có thêm hy vọng.

Tổng thống Trump khẳng định biết trước mối nguy hiểm của Covid-19 nhưng tỏ ra xem thường v́ muốn mang lại hy vọng cho người dân.

“Tôi biết trước mọi thứ. Tôi biết nó có thể rất khủng khiếp, nhưng cũng có thể ổn thỏa. Tôi không muốn làm người tiêu cực”, Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump nói trong cuộc họp báo tại Nhà Trắng hôm qua.

Phát biểu được đưa ra sau khi phóng viên hỏi liệu có phải Trump đă khiến người Mỹ ảo tưởng về mối đe dọa của Covid-19 khi nói dịch bệnh sẽ sớm biến mất, dù số ca nhiễm nCoV và người chết liên tục tăng.

“Thật dễ dàng để nói những điều tiêu cực, nhưng tôi muốn mang đến hy vọng cho người dân. Các bạn biết tôi là hoạt náo viên của đất nước, chúng ta đang trải qua thời điểm tồi tệ nhất lịch sử”, ông nói thêm.

Tổng thống Trump hôm 31/3 cảnh báo hai tuần tới sẽ “vô cùng đau thương” khi số người chết v́ nCoV tại Mỹ có thể lên đến 240.000, kêu gọi người dân chuẩn bị sẵn sàng cho những ngày khó khăn phía trước.

Nhiều chuyên gia y tế đă chỉ trích ông chủ Nhà Trắng v́ xem thường Covid-19, cho rằng điều này khiến Mỹ mất cơ hội chuẩn bị đối phó dịch bệnh, dẫn tới hàng ngh́n người chết. “Trump phớt lờ mọi khuyến cáo khoa học trong hai tháng qua. Chúng ta đă lăng phí hai tháng, đây không phải căn bệnh mà chúng ta được bỏ phí hai tháng”, tiến sĩ Ashish Jha, giám đốc Viện Sức khỏe Toàn cầu Harvard, cho hay.

Theo thống kê của Đại học Johns Hopkins, Mỹ hiện ghi nhận hơn 216.000 ca nhiễm nCoV, trong đó hơn 5.100 người đă chết. Nước này đang là vùng dịch lớn nhất thế giới với số ca mắc Covid-19 gần bằng Italy và Tây Ban Nha, hai vùng dịch lớn tiếp theo, cộng lại.

Mỹ đang rất cần các loại vật tư, thiết bị y tế để đối phó dịch, trong bối cảnh nhiều bang đang khẩn thiết yêu cầu chính phủ liên bang hỗ trợ khẩu trang, máy thở, đồ bảo hộ để ứng phó với làn sóng bệnh nhân đổ xô đến bệnh viện. Ông chủ Nhà Trắng cho biết chính phủ đang giữ lại gần 10.000 máy thở bởi “đợt bùng phát sắp tới rất mạnh” và sẵn sàng phân phối.

Chính phủ Mỹ đă lập cầu hàng không với Trung Quốc để tăng tốc độ vận chuyển thiết bị y tế được mua bởi các công ty tư nhân bằng cách sử dụng máy bay, thay v́ tàu biển như thông thường. Một số chuyến bay bổ sung có thể mang những thiết bị tương tự từ các nước khác đến Mỹ.

Ông Trump giải thích vậy là tốt rồi.

Ổng cũng đă thành thật nhận rằng ḿnh là một cheerleader buộc phải nói không đúng sự thật để mang hy vọng đến cho người khác.

Ổng nói rằng dù dịch bệnh này có ghê gớm mấy th́ ổng cũng đă biết trước...

Nhưng ổng không thể để cho dân Mỹ hoảng sợ, nên mới "dấu dịch" gieo ảo tưởng cho dân Mỹ là không nhằm ǵ, cốt ư là để người Mỹ c̣n nuôi hy vọng.

Có hy vọng có tích cực mới có động lực sống tiếp, theo đó chúng ta cũng biết là ông Trump đang cám ơn Trung Cộng đă giúp Mỹ.

V́ giống y chang như ở trên:

Trung Cộng biết rằng dù dịch bệnh lan tràn ghê gớm v́ đă trải qua rồi...

Nhưng Tàu không thể để cho dân Mỹ hoảng sợ, nên mới "dấu dịch" gieo ảo tưởng cho dân Mỹ là không nhằm ǵ, cốt ư là để người Mỹ c̣n nuôi hy vọng.

Hai việc làm đó giống nhau, khiến dân Mỹ đồng thời vừa hy vọng vừa chết. Vậy th́ làm sao mà trách Tàu đă dấu diếm khiến dân Mỹ tưởng bở rồi lơ là khiến cho bệnh dịch bùng nổ ra!
