Các thống đốc trên toàn quốc hôm Chủ nhật chỉ trích sự thể hiện t́nh đoàn kết của Tổng thống Donald Trump với những người phản đối các lệnh trú ẩn ở nhà do tiểu bang ban hành, nói rằng những b́nh luận của ông Trump là “nguy hiểm” và “không có ư nghĩa ǵ”.

Biểu t́nh ở Michigan

“Khi các lệnh trú ẩn tại nhà do các thống đốc ban hành để bảo vệ sức khỏe của mọi người, th́ tổng thống lại lên tiếng khuyến khích những người bất đồng chính kiến không tuân lệnh, và khuyến khích hoạt động bất hợp pháp, “Thống đốc Washington, Jay Inslee, Dân chủ, nói với ABC

Inslee cho biết những b́nh luận của Trump là “nguy hiểm” v́ chúng “có thể truyền cảm hứng cho mọi người bỏ qua những khuyến nghị có thể cứu sống họ.” Việc ủng hộ những người biểu t́nh của Trump là “cản trở những nỗ lực quốc gia của chúng ta để bảo vệ mọi người khỏi loại virus khủng khiếp này”.

Tuần trước đă chứng kiến ngày càng nhiều cuộc biểu t́nh trên khắp toàn quốc nơi những người biểu t́nh chống lại các hạn chế coronavirus mà các chuyên gia y tế cho rằng cần thiết để ngăn chặn sự lây lan của virus.

Những người biểu t́nh cho biết họ tin rằng việc đóng cửa, gây tổn hại cho hoạt động kinh doanh và hoạt động giải trí bị cản trở, đă đi quá xa, đặc biệt là ở những khu vực chưa từng thấy những vụ dịch lớn như ở New York và New Jersey. Nhưng các chuyên gia y tế đă cảnh báo sẽ không mất nhiều thời gian để một nơi tương đối không bị ảnh hưởng trở thành một điểm nóng, v́ chỉ cần một người nhiễm bệnh có thể truyền vi-rút sang một số người khác.

Các cuộc biểu t́nh, đă được quảng bá trong các nhóm lớn trên Facebook với các tên như ” Michiganders chống lại kiểm dịch quá mức ” và “ReOpen NC”..

Chính quyền tuần trước đă đưa ra các hướng dẫn về cách các tiểu bang có thể bắt đầu nới lỏng các hạn chế, khuyến nghị một quy tŕnh gồm nhiều giai đoạn bao gồm xét nghiệm nhiều hơn. Các thống đốc vào Chủ nhật cho biết sự khuyến khích của Trump đối với người biểu t́nh là khó hiểu khi xem xét các hướng dẫn mới.

Thống đốc Maryland, ông Hog Hogan, một người Cộng ḥa, nói với CNN rằng tiểu bang của ông “đang làm mọi thứ có thể để mở lại một cách an toàn”, nhưng “Tôi không nghĩ rằng nó hữu ích để khuyến khích các cuộc biểu t́nh và khuyến khích mọi người đi ngược lại chính sách của tổng thống. “
