Làng Chửi....Bài của Bác Phố khuya

Nghe cái tên thật là thú vị phải không quý vị? Vâng, đúng là làng chửi, nhưng từ đâu lại có cái tên này, xin quý vị tham khảo và đặt lại cho cái tên hay hơn nếu cần thiết.
Có một làng nhỏ quy tụ tất cả những con người thật dễ thương, hiền hòa. Mặc dù ai cũng đầu tắt mặt tối với cuộc sống hàng ngày, nhưng cũng dành đôi phút để chia sẽ với nhau vào cuối ngày. Họ cũng đã từng xưng hô với nhau là huynh đệ, tỷ muội cho đến một ngày gần đây. Câu chuyện bắt đầu cũng bởi vì, thì, là mà ra.
Bởi vì: Có một vài người bất hảo đến từ bên ngoài. Họ đến với mục đích làm xáo trộn sự yên tỉnh của cả làng. Họ bắt đầu với những cách mà người đời thường gọi là "Đâm bị thóc, móc bị gạo".
Và từ đó "Thì" không biết tự khi nào, ngôi làng đã chia ra hai bên tả, hữu một cách rõ rệt. Họ gặp nhau không còn những câu hỏi han thân mật nữa, và cả cách xưng hô cũng từ huynh đệ trở thành...xa xôi.
Và "Là" như thế mà từ sự trở mặt vô nguyên cớ họ bỏ đi tất cả những mỹ từ, và thay vào đó bằng những ngôn từ khó tả. Từ lớn đến bé không biết tự khi nào mà họ có thể mạt sát nhau, bêu xấu nhau bằng những từ ngữ mà lâu nay họ không thường dùng.
Đám người bất hảo thì ngồi khoanh tay và bắt đầu xem mọi người trong làng lần lượt trở nên những diễn viên cho màn kịch do họ dàn dựng. Kịch bản này đã tạo nên tên tuổi của "Làng Chửi" ngày nay.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is an American hero whose common sense jurisprudence and life's story deserve more study.

But, Amazon's Prime Video streaming service inexplicably decided to remove the documentary showcasing Thomas' life and work, "Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words."

Please take a minute to SIGN and SHARE this petition asking Amazon to restore Thomas' documentary to their streaming service.

'Created Equal' is a classic American story revealing Thomas' rise from poverty in the segregated South to eventually becoming one of the most influential justices on the country's highest court.

Of course, in order to take his seat on the Supreme Court in 1991, Thomas had to go through the crucible of Senate Hearings which served as the launching point of a smear campaign against him, not unlike what Brett Kavanaugh endured in 2018.

At the time, the Democrats outnumbered Republicans in the Senate, 57 to 43, and many recall the Thomas nomination, and the smear tactics used, as a low-point for Senate Democrats in the early 90's.

What many also remember was how Thomas was up for the fight. Indeed, Thomas reacted strongly to what transpired at the hearings, saying of them: "And from my standpoint, as a black American, as far as I'm concerned it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves..."

However, what many people forget is that it was none other than Joe Biden who lead these "disgraceful" nomination proceedings against Thomas, for, in 1991, Biden was the Chairman of the Senate's Judiciary Committee!

Could it be that Amazon's decision to remove Thomas' documentary is politically-motivated, covering for present-day Joe Biden not wanting to show him in a bad light?

Or, could it be that Amazon is continuing its efforts to censor and silence conservative American voices?

Given the fact that 'Created Equal' is the twentieth-highest ranked documentary on Amazon, it should be an easy business decision for Amazon to make, if their decision is not, indeed, politically-motivated.
