Fact Check: Dominion Executive Eric Coomer Is NOT Missing And The Company Has Not Closed Its Headquarters

Is Dominion Voting Systems vice president Eric Coomer missing and has the company closed its headquarters? No, that's not true: A video repeats unfounded claims Lead Stories has previously debunked: that Dominion Voting Systems has shuttered its headquarters amid unfounded and rebutted claims that the company manipulated election results in favor of Joe Biden over Donald Trump. There is no evidence that Dominion employee Coomer is "missing," as the company has directed all employees to protect their social media accounts.

The claims appeared as a post published by Epoch Times Singapore on November 27, 2020 titled "Dominion VP is Missing" (archived here) which opened:

Eric Coomer, Dominion's head of product and strategy, has disappeared. Representatives from Dominion also did not attend a court hearing in Pennsylvania on November 19. Its US headquarters in Denver was also suddenly closed and moved away. Their employees deleted their names from LinkedIn.



The one-minute and 30 second video rehashes conspiracies about Dominion Voter System that Lead Stories and other fact checking and national news sites have debunked.

The video voice-over says:

Trump's attorney Sidney Powell has revealed that Eric Coomer, Dominion's head of product and strategy, has disappeared. In an interview with Newsmax, she also said that its headquarters in Toronto and Denver, Colorado are empty.

The Dominion Voting Software has come under heavy scrutiny recently for suspected election fraud, manipulating votes from one candidate to the other. Representatives from Dominion also did not attend a court hearing in Pennsylvania on November 19 where the House of Representatives were planning to question Dominion on possible election manipulation. This has raised suspicions online that they may have something to hide.

On the Toronto headquarters closure, Powell said the Dominion office suddenly closed and moved away from Toronto. The headquarters originally shared the office with Soros corporation. Its U.S headquarters in Denver was also suddenly closed and moved away.

Their employees deleted their names from LinkedIn. It also deleted any relationship with the company. More than 100 employees of the company did this.

Joe Oltmann from Gateway Pundit also investigated further into Eric Coomer and found out that he has ties to Antifa, a far-left organization that is also anti-Trump. He claimed that he infiltrated an online Antifa meeting and during which Antifa members referred to him as "Eric from Dominion." Oltmann also said that during the call someone asked, "what are we going to do if Trump wins?' to which Coomer allegedly replied, "don't worry about the election, Trump's not gonna win. I made sure of that." After exposing Coomer's background, Oltmann has since been suspended from Twitter and has received death threats."

Here is a break-down of the claims in the video.

There is no evidence Coomer is "missing." After the election, as President Trump has called into question the validity of the votes across the country, specifically targeting Dominion Voting Systems, the company website announced it has advised employees to protect their social media accounts. The employees have been working from home amid the coronavirus outbreak, the statement says

1) DOMINION IS NOT SHUTTERING ITS OFFICES. EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN ENCOURAGED TO WORK REMOTELY AND PROTECT THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES DUE TO PERSISTENT HARASSMENT AND THREATS AGAINST PERSONAL SAFETY.
Dominion employees are being forced to retreat from their lives due to personal safety concerns, not only for our employees themselves, but also for their extended families.
ABC News has reported on these security concerns, saying that after "two weeks of false fraud claims," this is the latest sign that "freewheeling online rhetoric has real-world consequences."
Dominion team members are working around the clock to address issues with law enforcement and take every measure we can to ensure the safety of our employees.
Dominion will not comment further about our personnel due to these safety concerns."



Representatives from Dominion Voting System did not show up for a hearing with the Pennsylvania lawmakers scheduled for November 19, 2020. News station WFMZ TV reported the company advised lawmakers Dominion "is under litigation and can not answer questions at this time."

Joe Oltmann told Gateway Pundit he "infiltrated an online Antifa meeting" and heard a man described as "Eric from Dominion," saying Trump would not win reelection. Oltmann claimed the man he believed to be Coomer said, "don't worry about the election, Trump's not gonna win. I made sure of that."

Oltmann has provided no public evidence that the call took place, that the person on the call was Eric Coomer who works for Dominion, or that he said what Oltmann claimed he said.

Snopes.com asked Oltmann for evidence or proof he could provide of the phone call or what was said, but he did not provide it to Snopes.com for a story they published on November 20, 2020. Oltmann has been suspended from Twitter, Snopes.com confirmed.


Twitter permanently suspended Oltmann's account (according to Oltmann, on Nov. 12), a move that itself gave rise to further claims of political bias, with Oltmann telling Malkin "Twitter is antifa." A spokesperson for Twitter told Snopes Oltmann's account was banned for "violating the Twitter Rules, specifically our Civic Integrity Policy."

Powell included Oltmann's claims in her lawsuit in Georgia, where she sought to have the election results in the state de-certified and given to Trump, according to FOX News, but did not provide any proof of the call.
