Ngoài những phương pháp ngụy trang ḥa lẫn với môi trường xung quanh, người lính đặc công c̣n phải đánh trần nằm phơi sương nhiều giờ đồng hồ cho bay hết hơi người trước khi đột nhập mục tiêu hoặc bôi một loại thuốc khử mùi.


Màn ngụy trang với cơ thể bị cát lấp đến cổ, mặt chùm kín nilon để cát đỡ rơi vào mặt, 1 ống thông khí được đưa vào miệng để thở.


Chiến sĩ đặc công ẩn ḿnh vào những ḥn đá


Kỹ thuật ngâm ḿnh trong nước với ống thở được ngụy trang dành cho đặc công nước.
