Thai police seize 1.6 tons of drugs hidden under cabbages

While investigators have not explicitly named the source of the shipment, they strongly suspect the narcotics were smuggled across the border from a neighboring country. This represented a 24% surge in seizures compared to the prior year, with Thailand identified as the most frequent destination or transit hub for meth originating from Myanmar.
