Attorney General Pam Bondi was on offense mode during her testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee today.

In an absolutely epic moment, Bondi went off on Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin when he questioned her about why President Trump is deploying the Texas National Guard to Chicago.

“I wish you loved Chicago as much as you hate President Trump,” she started before blasting Sen. Durbin for failing his own citizens and voting to shut the government down.

Attorney General Pam Bondi didn’t wait for Senate Democrats to ask their own pointed questions before she went on the attack Tuesday while testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“You voted to shut the government down,” Bondi said in response to a question from Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the panel’s top ranking member, about the legal basis for sending National Guard troops into Chicago.

Bondi described hundreds of homicides in Chicago and argued Trump’s decision to send in the Guard was aimed at addressing violent crime that local police had not been able to contain. She noted that her deputy, Todd Blanche, and FBI Director Kash Patel were en route to Chicago Tuesday morning.

“I wish you loved Chicago as much as you hate President Trump,” Bondi said. “If you’re not going to protect your citizens, President Trump will.”

Though Bondi’s appearance was expected to generate intense sparring with Democrats, Durbin seemed surprised by the intensity of Bondi’s posture in response to a relatively mild question about the work of the department.

“I’ve been on this committee for more than 20 years. That’s the kind of testimony you expect from this administration,” Durbin said. “A simple question as to whether or not they had a legal rationale for deploying National Guard troops becomes grounds for personal attack. I think it’s a legitimate question. It’s my responsibility.”


But, that wasn’t the only time during today’s Senate hearing that Pam Bondi put Sen. Durbin in his place.

She also turned the tables on him over the Epstein files, calling him out for blocking a subpoena of the Epstein flight logs and taking money from Epstein confidante Reid Hoffman!

Sen. Marsha Blackburn stepped in to back Bondi up, and together, the two absolutely tag-teamed him!

Senator Marsha Blackburn and AG Pam Bondi just tag-teamed Senator Durbin after he denied a subpoena for the flight logs, and knowing Reid Hoffman, a known Epstein affiliate.

Democrats always crack when called on their lies.

Bondi: “I find it very interesting that you refused repeated Republican requests to release the Epstein flight log in 2023 and 2024, you fought that. Did you take money from Reid Hoffman campaign donations?”

Durbin denied taking donations from Reid Hoffman, but Hoffman has given millions to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), which supports Durbin as a top Senate Democrat.

Bondi: “Why did you fight to not disclose the flight logs, Senator Durbin?”

Durbin falsely claimed that he “did not” fight against” Blackburn’s subpoena and, “I asked you if you wanted any documents like flight logs to put it in writing You never did.”

Blackburn: “Yes, sir, I did. And your staff knows that I did. We’ll submit once again, the information to you. We’ve done that several times, but we’ll be happy to once again send it to you. I think your staff doesn’t show that to you.”
